Has anyone ever tried to set up 2 night buttons or something to that effect on a vodavi XTS system? I have 2 companies sharing a phone system and voice mail and that want the last one out at each company to set the night service.

Vodavi has 3 modes of ringing. A day, night and special. If more than one company is sharing a system, it does complicate the issue. Only stations defined in programming as attendants can activate day/night mode. (prog 10)

It also would depend on how the phones are set up to ring. If th incoming lines ring to one phone, not multiple phones, you can forward that one phone to voicemail at the end of the day. In the mornng, they would just remove the forwarding. Same with the other company or use night mode just for the other company.

Tip and ring, the work of the devil!
