Customer with DVX II (Eng ver 2.16 3FE2) and Digital Talkpath DVM (DVM FP2 Rel 2 build 90b) DVM set up to answer after xx seconds. Callers that reach the AA are asked to enter the extension of the party they are calling or to press 4 for a directory. Some times when a caller dials say 113, the AA responds that ext 11 does not exist, if the re enter 113 the call is routed correctly. Trying to determine if the DVX is not sending the received DTMF or the DVM is not receiving the sent DTMF correctly. It would seem like the DVM is the problem as on the second attempt the call is routed correctly

The following are from the DVM log files from today for two such calls

07:43:50 01 I!DVM Debug: Waiting For Call
07:57:58 01 Log: Start Call
07:58:00 01 Log: Menu 100 07:57:58 Keys 1:AaSTART
07:58:07 01 Log: AutoA 11 does not exist.
07:58:10 01 Log: AutoA 111 Access
07:58:14 01 Log: AutoA 111 Blind Bl Connect 111
07:58:14 01 Log: Stop Call 07:57:58

09:30:06 01 I!DVM Debug: Waiting For Call
09:42:18 01 Log: Start Call
09:42:30 01 Log: Menu 100 09:42:20 Keys 3:AaSTART
09:42:36 01 Log: AutoA 3 does not exist.
09:42:46 01 Log: AutoA 113 Access
09:42:53 01 Log: AutoA 113 Blind Bl Connect 113
09:42:53 01 Log: Stop Call 09:42:20
09:42:54 01 I!DVM Debug: Waiting For Call

Has anyone run into this before? Any suggestions?

Thanks

dosjock

I had this same problem a while back, Vodavi tech support had me add a registry value. I didn't save the info. I quick call to them might help'

The registry item is "DVMIntroVol=-4"
Pay attention to the capitol letters.

I would recommend upgrading the software on the VM as it corrects many other problems as well as the volume problem.
