The instructions I have for the 616 EX to set the date/time are: On/Off, SPD button, *50 and then do the yy/mm/dd/hh/mm.
The info is in a user guide, not an instal manual.
I got the same info from two people and it just does not work. This was not a problem until she bought six display phones and can now see the date/time.
Thanks, Bunnie

A RCU ((Real Clock Unit) is required to have the Time/Date show correctly with that system. If you never had display phones before, more than likely a RCU was never installed in your system.

The 616 EX units did not come with an RCU. The 616 FLEX did. You most likely do not have one. Good luck finding one that works. Even when they were new, they did not keep time very well. You will lose or gain a few minutes a week. ------------------ Vodavi Telephone Repair Toshiba Telephone Repair [This message has been edited by paul144 (edited March 02, 2005).]

Thanks so much for the help. Somewhere way back in my head I think I remember this issue but just couldn't remember it.
Thanks, Bunnie
