Before I can help you, I will need to know a few things:
1. Does the attendant's phone have a DND button programmed? If it does, you should be able to turn it off there by pressing the button until it is no longer lit. Even if you disabled automatic night service, it will stay in whatever mode it was when you disabled auto night service until it is manually turned off.
2. How are the CO lines programmed to ring? Is it possible that they are programmed to ring to the voice mail regardless of the day/night settings?
Try checking those items out and see if it helps you. If not, check back with your progress and we will look further into this.

Sorry about the details...There is a DND Night button programmed and it does nothing. Maybe I should try to reprogram it? The CO lines are programmed to ring into VM only in night mode.

I should have said - The programmed DND night button is lit (indicating night mode) when pressed it does nothing.

Go to the attendant's phone, press the speed button two times, press the DND button and then dial 631. It's possible that the button is lit because it's programmed for a different feature. Once you have it programmed for 631, press it two times so that the light is off and that should cure it.
One last thing: Make sure that the attendant station really is the attendant station by dialing "0" from another extension. If it doesn't call that phone, then your attendant extension is different and you'll need to do the DND button from what actually ends up being the attendant.

That did it. Reprogrammed DND button with 631. Now able to switch between day/night mode.
Thanks!
