Does anyone know if the pop-up dialing screen for the MJ can be disabled? I have mine connected to my PC and feeding into my system as a line. Anytime someone accesses it, it pops up in the middle of what I'm doing.

Not that I know of Ed. What I did was drag it to the edge of the screen, almost out of sight so when it comes up it doesn't distract me. When I need it, I drag it back.

Can you hook it to your server Ed, then to you PBX? That's the way we have ours set up. We use it as a back door.

Mike, I am using mine at home where I don't have a formal server.
Dave, I'll consider dragging that bad boy down to the corner when it's active and see what happens. I never thought of trying that. It's not THAT big of an issue, but I just thought I'd ask.
I ain't one of them-there IT guys when it comes to this stuff. Thanks for your input so far.

Ed, me either, but Dave's suggestion sounds like a winner! Too bad there isn't a "next page' like a book where you could put stuff like that! Hmmm, now THERE is a Windows upgrade that some folks, besides me, might just find useful. 'Course that means it'll never happen! John C.

Have you looked here Ed? They have live on-line tech support.

I didn't bother to check with them yet since their pop-up screen includes advertising. I figured that the would just say "no it cannot be done, tank you beddy much" in an effort to keep me tuned to their ads. I thought some of our resident brains might have a way to get around this.

Ed, if you want to go ALL OUT, I also installed a tiny program called "Trayit". Free download.
Didn't get it for this application specifically, but what it does is when minimizing, instead of going to the task bar, it'll place a small icon in the system tray. Works great and leaves the task bar available for other things.

I have used their on-line support before. It's actually pretty good. You naturally have to jump through a few hoops to get to someone that knows what day of the week it is, but hey for 20 bucks a year what do you expect?
