Situation:
PC #1: Compaq Notebook, XPHome, USB to Serial adapter, IS Admin Build 385 ~~ connects to HDD VM fine
PC #2: Dell Notebook, XPHome, USB to Serial adapter, IS Admin Build 349 ~~ attempts to connect, but gets a password failure error. PW entered in ISAdmin is default, PW on MB 100 in HDD VM has NOT been changed, still default.
PC #3: Gateway Desktop, XPHome, Serial Cable, IS Admin Build 349 ~~ connects to HDD VM fine
The same disc was used to install ISAdmin on PCs 2 & 3
All 3 PCs are trying to connect to the same HDD VM.
Why will PC #2 not connect?
Of course there could be any number of reasons and I intend to install build 385 on the Dell notebook to test that possibility.
Just looking for any other ideas.
