Voice Mail ports not answering. System has been working for 1.5 yrs. Unplugged system ..tried vm again. Still no answer. Unplugged vmcard from ksu, plugged back in. Still No Answer. Have not been on site as of yet. VM seems to be locked up. Any thoughts?
VM is connected to Sts phone system. I think there is a reset button on VM Card...but customer could not find it. So reset system manually. ( uplugging)
Thanks

If you can, connect a monitor and usb keyboard/mouse to it so you can see whats up.

I plan to do just that in the morning. I was hoping it was someting simple like a reset issue.
Thanks

I don't think the HDD version of the in-skin voice mail is 1.5 years old yet. Are you sure it's not a flash memory unit?
Regardless, have you tried dialing each port separately, as in dialing X150 through 157? It may just be a defective port which is pretty easy to bypass.
By the way, are you related to Kelly?

I have replaced 3 of the HDD VM units as of this posting. Hard drive failure is to blame on all of the replacements. Hey it's a laptop computer that is running XP on too little memory for an over extended period of time, it is bound to fail at some time. Wish Vodavi would push the warranty on that to 5 years like the rest of the phones and equipment.
