I've been asked to make some changes to the programming and I'm not sure where to look in the manual.

We had a person at Station 103 who now works offsite. We also have an intern that has moved into that office. I need to setup a new extension for the intern on the same physical port, and make Station 103 a virtual station that goes directly to voicemail.

Is this possible?

You can use the station relocation feature. At that phone, just dial 636 plus the extension number you want it to become. This will need to be an unused extension number. Once you do this, 103 will automatically become a virtual extension. I assume that your system is using a digital voice mail. I am not sure how virtuals are handled otherwise since I don't know what software you have on the XTSc.

what ed said!! just make sure the VMID's are changed according to the extension on the port and then when you make Ext. 103 a virtual set the Preset Call fwd to VM(440)after like 1 sec. for day/night/special.

I'm not sure I totally understand the need to change VMID's.

I dial 636116 on the set and station 103 becomes station 116. Seems like it already setup the VMID's because dialing 440 from the new Sta116 gives me VM box 116. All I ended up doing was changing the ring assignments for CO3 (it was set to 103, but the relocation automatically changed it to 116 and it needed to stay at 103)

Actually, oobie is right. There are some older versions of software out there that don't automatically transfer the VMID. I don't think that these software versions were ever available on the XTS, XTSc or STS system families. It was the older digital systems using feature package 3, which is long gone.
