OK, the talkpath vmail i installed has worked great for the past month thanks to your guys help. However, The customer has rewuested message notification to thier cell phone today and when setup it calls the number and just gives a series of beeps and hangs up. Almost like its still dialing. Am I missing something or has anyone else seen this before?

Yes, that is because the default external notification settings for mailboxes is to call a pager.

You will need to change this. If anyone there uses pagers, then you will need to create a new class of service for those using cell phone notification.

If not, then you can simply change the standard COS 100 settings, which are the system's default for all mailboxes.

Go to the "COS" settings in ADMIN, select COS 100, then go to the "notification" tab and look at the very bottom of the screen for "notify script". You will see "112".CF in that box. Change this to "CELLULAR".CF (just letters; no quotes) and you will be fine.

When this change is made, the cell phone number is dialed, the system will either ask for you to enter a mailbox number or simply enter a password, depending upon the software. Just remember that it's dialing and waiting 12 seconds for an answer, so if the called party answers quickly, they may not hear anything for a while. Users will need to just be conditioned that if they receive a call from the office and there's nobody there, just wait a few seconds and the system will start talking.

Will try that first thing in the morning.

What is the point of the option for pager in the notification tab then if it uses pager by default? Sure would be nice if they would add info like this with the notification setup section, but guess thats asking too much wink
