I did the latest upgrade 1.01 from Vodavi. Ever since the CID only gives me the last call, no history of calls. This is on the answered calls only. I placed a couple of calls and hung up, so the unanswered seem to be ok. Has anyone else seen this? Thanks, Bill

Bill:
There is a new feature code for reviewing the caller ID history that can be done on a per-station basis. Unfortunately, I can't remember the code and procedure. I will look into it and check back to let you know.

Bill, I can't find it, but I am at home with limited resources. You do know that there are two different codes for review of CID, one for answered and one for unanswered calls, right? One is 659 and the other is 635. Does that help you any?

Yes, 635 is the unanswered, it works. 659 only gives the last call, no history. It was working prior to the upgrade. I've looked through the documents to see if there was a change and find nothing. So don't know if it's a bug or what. I'll let this run awhile before I call Vodavi, being a little guy they don't really listen to me. Thanks Ed.
Let me add this. After the upgrade I had all kinds of unknown names and numbers in the CID displays, which must have been in the upgrade, all of my history was gone. I cleared it all out and figured it would just start over, but doesn't seem to be the case.

Bill, I found all kinds of notices touting the new features, but I can't find any doccumentation as to how to use them. Even current manuals and user's guides refer to the old methods. I am sending them an e-mail now to see what I can find. Sorry I let that one slip through the cracks.

Thanks for your help Ed, really appreciated. I'm just glad I tried this on my home system before the customers. I did look through documentation, that was generously provided by a member of this board and I didn't find anything either. Thanks again.

I have had some limited experience with the CID on the STSE. The 635 & 659 are programmed under a spare button, and then when pressed..scrolls through the call.. name only and the last call that has come in displays first, other button need to be pressed to get additional info like , phone number, time and date of call etc. Also I had a customer who wanted the 1st unanswered call displayed.. but the system automatically display the very last no captured. To get to the 1st no. press the trans button and then keep toggling through the numbers. Customer was not very impressed having to do this. Has any one else expienced this issue?

That's the way it works. You can just hit mute to see the number and yes the transfer button is the only way I know to get to the last entry, as it starts with oldest first. I just use the flex keys.

Just FYI to all. I've sent Vodavi an email to see if they are aware of this problem and if not to take a trouble report. We'll see. Ed thanks for your assistance. I'll let you all know what I find out.
