Can the first version STS be upgraded to an STSe software?

It can be upgraded to the most current feature set, which is comparable to the STSe features. You will need to order a set of replacement EEPROM chips from tech support. You can do a backup and restore, since all programming will be lost when you do this. Most of the time, STS systems aren't so complicated that this is necessary. We just reprogram manually.
