Flash Voice Mail I added 5 Mailboxes numbered 201, 202, 203, 204 and 205.
How can I program from a telephone at ext 100 so that when someone dials the extension number it goes to the the new extension Voice Mail?

Thank you in advance.

George

You can't do it from a telephone. You need to have a laptop connected directly to the voice mail card. You need to go to option 9: "Mailbox Assignment" screen in the voice mail and all the way to the right, set the "Direct Xfer" setting to "Yes". This will go straight to the mailbox.

You also need to make sure in main menu option 2: Number Plan that the digit 2 is set for to Yes for "First Digit Permission".

This will allow callers who dial these mailboxes to go straight to the newly-created mailboxes.

Thanks for your prompt replay.
May I ask another question?
Can this Voice Mail System call someone on a cell phone to notify of messages?
Thanks again.\George

This can be done. This is explained in D-61 in the STSe 1.0 issue manual. If you are familiar with the mailbox options it is under the personal options menu (8) and then (8) for other options, (1) for Notification. Hope this helps!
