Recently been hearing that Vodavi is going to have a "major announcement" in aprox 2 weeks? This info from a non-Vodavi dealer, but reputable in the Washington DC area. Any one have some insite? From the tone in which he said it, it did not sound good. I am only certified on Vodavi products, but know Comdial and Nortel. Just wondering if its time to get those certs or others.

Well I definatly dont want to comment or print something that may not be accurate. But my Boss seems to have the skinny, and says it isnt going to affect our company. So thanks for the forum and sorry if this got anyone worried.

Let's just agree to keep this matter closed. Until it's news, it's not news. This issue is nothing to get worked up over by any stretch of the imagination.
This is also what causes things to happen before they heppen when the press starts forecasting things that haven't even happened. People panic in response and actually cause the "problems" that aren't really even there.

I would not worry about it. Just keep trying as hard as you can to get those certs. Vodavi is fine.
