Well I guess the rumor was true. I just got an email from Vodavi that "Vertical Communications " was buying 100% of their common stock. Doesn't say that it will have much negative effect on the dealers though. I guess we will have to wait and see.

AT&T/Lucent/Avaya, Rolm/IBM/Siemens, TIE/Nitsuko/NEC, Comdial/Vertical, BP/Amoco, Exxon/Mobil, I guess it's just par for the course. When it's a public company, it's day-by-day anymore in any industry.

I would not worry about it! We are a Comdial and Vodavi dealer and when Comdial was bought out by Vertical it has had no effect on the product line. They just get more money for R&D and will probably make Vodavi systems better
