I'm sure this has been covered here before, and I've even done it before but I can't remember how to do it.
I've got an XTS system installed and the Station 110 button just keeps flashing on the 24-button phones. Sometimes just unplugging and replugging the problem set works, sometimes rebooting the system works, but not in this case. I know there's a command to reset an individual port, but I can't find it in the documentation and don't remember it. Can anybody help?
Thanks, Bill

You will need to go into the CONFIG utility and type r s110 (there is a space between r and s).

New poster with what's probably a lame question:
What's the CONFIG utility? Is this reached through the Telnet interface to the IP of the switch? The Telnet looks to me to be nothing more than a phone, with a big, scrolling display. (Not that that's not a grand thing).

Do you have the XTS manual? If so, there is an appendix in the back that addresses using CONFIG and ETRACE that's really good. It's pretty amazing how much information you can get from these utilities.

I've got an XTS-IP_ProgOps.pdf file, and an XTS-IP_Install.pdf file. Both date from July 2005.
I'll go hit those books again. Thanks.

You'll be fine with those. I swear that you will find these more useful and informative than any of the other methods to program and administer the system. Feel free to PM me if you need additional advice. Roll up the string!

Thanks, Ed. I'm seeing "maint>" over telnet now, I can see how this will indeed probably be enough.
Not that you've seen the last of me. I'm sure I'll have more ?s as I get my feet wet.
Thanks again.
