Does the STS KSU need an impedance matching coupler (device) between a single disc CD player its input terminal(s)?
If so, who has an affordable device.

Not really. Any standard interface that will provide the equivalent of a mono headset connection will do. You just have to be careful with volume settings to avoid overdriving the input transformer and blowing it. We usually purchase six foot cables with a 1/8" phone plug on both ends, then cut them in half. Remember that many players have a headset output jack and a line-level audio output jack. Use the line-level jack if there is one present; otherwise, just use the headset jack and start out with the volume low.

Thanks. I got curious when I saw diagram on the CD for a resistor and capacitor in parallel with the input. You reckon a Lucent Partner coupler would work though?
