I have a customer that wants to hook up a marine battery to his STS cabinet via the BBU connector. I have been informed by Vodavi that "we never got around to actually making that cable." Has anyone used that connector and if so where did you get the cable? Thanks.

You can't just hook the battery directly to the STS. The STSe and XTSc do not provide a charging circuit to the battery. We use the BBU connector with battery packs we get from Advanced Battery Systems. Their boxes come with a charger. We've had very good success with them.

Thanks for the quick response and link. I'll give them a call.
