This relates back to my lcr and international call problem that I had posted last month. There is an issue where a call transfered from plant one, where the pri resides, to plant 2, the transfered call hears one ring then dead silents. There is no music source at iether plant for moh. Tech support said that it is a software glitch that they are working on. Has anyone run into the same issue and what was done to fix the problem??

Thanks for you answers,

Mike. :bang:

Yeah i had seen that in some earlier releases of code but I have every switch that i got running 2.223 or 3.001 and i don't see it on any of the Voip networked switches that i have. I would update the code and i bet it will solve your problem

They are already upgraded to the lastest and greatest software level on the processure and voip care. The problem is that there is no ringback/moh when they transfer calls between sites. So the caller thinks they have been disconnected.

Does anyone have this issue before and what was the work around.

Thanks

I know that you will not get MOH but you should get ringback. Did you turn the Transmit DB level on your VOIP trunk up to like +6 or +9db? you may want to play with that. Thats all i can think of right now but if i think of anything else i will post.

Thanks for the info, I will try that when I get out to the site and let you know how it turns out.

Thanks,

OLD TECH

After you change the level setting, you may want to glance at flash 40 page B Btn 2 (ring back option for T1)
