Larry,
I talked to tech support about this and they told me that i need to use a serial to USB adapter to a serial modem?!?!?! is that what you are doing?

Nope. Just a MultiTech USB modem to the USB port on the VM.

That is all i am doing an tech support says it will not work, that i need to use an serial modem and connect the serial cable from the modem to a USB adapter and plug in the USB port. they are killing me!!!!
I think i might order one of the Multitech modems and try it, Thanks so much Larry!

I wonder if Vodavi's USB modem for use with the Pathfinder would be worth looking into? It's part number 670-01 and it's cheaper than any USB modems that I have seen at the store.

I am also just going to try a standard 56k modem and and serial to USB adapter and see if it works.
