I have a customer with an STS that has caller ID blocked on lines 9, 10, and 11 on outbound calls to customers. Sounded like a CO line issue to me but Verizon was called, they say its in the phone system.
Thank you in advance for your reply.

If these are just POTS lines I don't think the STS can do that.

I agree Bill, however if it's a channel bank Verison could have it disabled, in either case it sure sounds like the provider.

Look in your phone book and try dialing the number after unblocking CID just for grins. I know out here in Qwest it's *82, if it works it will prove it to the LEC.

I've tested the CO lines before the STS system. The caller ID works perfectly from my test set calling to my cell phone. When I select the same line through the STS system and call my cell phone, the cell phone reads "Restricted"
The customer just informed me that they requested lines 9,10 & 11 be set up this way when the system was installed. That means there has to be a place in the programming that I can remove or shut off this caller ID block. Any Ideas?
Thanks
