hello everyone.. hope someone can help. i have a customer that has taken over a business with an existing system r 01.01 if i remember correctly. anyways lets get to the issue. i defaulted system and vm set system up to answer autoattendant after 4 rings all great and dandy except when aa answers i get a prompt saying "MAILBOX 440 I AM SORRY THERE IS NO SUCH MAILBOX NUMBER ... A PAUSE THEN A SECOND PROMPT SAYING YOU HAVE ENTERED TO FEW DIGITS... A PAUSE THAN GREETING NUMBER ONE THAT SHOULD ANSWER COMES ON.. BASICALLY THE CONFIGURATION SHOULD BE THAT THE MAIN GREETING 1 ANWSERS DAY AND NIGHT AFTER 4 RINGS. WHEN I DIAL DIRECTLY INTO THE VM EXTS. I GET THE GREETING THAT SHOULD ANSWER. HELP PLEASE THANKS SO MUCH.. LAURIE

It sounds like you may need to initialize the voice mail card.

Laurie:
You have your lines set to forward to 440, which is fine but you also have the VMID for the lines set to 440. Blank that out and you should be good to go.

OR..............You can set it up properly by setting up hunt group 450 and point your lines to 450 in page b instead of 440. 450 isn't looking for digits.
