You might want to check the loop current of your lines. You need 17-22 milliamps on each one while on an active call. If you have less it may cause the DHS to drop the call.

Ok, I did a test on the phone lines I have 9 hooked into the system.
My line 3, 6, 8 , & 9 lines show me 6.8 milliamps and all other lines show me 17 - 30 milliamps while on an active call and if one of thoes lines is acitve all lines show me 6.8 so this is very well the reason why my DHS is dropping all the calls.
So my next question is how do I fix this problem?

One other thing I did switch out board to see if that was the problem and I get the same results with other board.

I am having a very similar problem with my Vodavi Starplus DHS system 'hiccupping' and resetting at night.
It has a 6-port CO Module (though we only use 4 CO lines), an MOH/BGM Option module, and a 2 Port SLT Adapter. For the past few years, the system will work well throughout the work day, but at night between midnight and 8 am, it will begin to 'hiccup', with the displays going blank on the executive handsets intermittently. This continues till the system resets to Jan 1, 1997.
Although it loses its settings, the various handsets will have strange problems until I turn off the power and toggle the memory battery backup switch.
Has anyone heard of a phone system reacting like this on such a regular basis--always at night? We do have an APC battery backup and surge protector serving all the equipment above.

This original thread is over a year old. Everyone prefers that we start new threads in such cases. That being said, I would still start by replacing the Varta 3.6V memory support battery. You have it on a UPS but unless the USP is on-line and a true sine wave, you can have a brief instant where a weak battery won't hold.
