I am a bit confused on how you have things set-up so i am going to run by you what we have done at other sites.

Site 1 HUB with PRI - extension range 2000-2999
Site 2(connected back to HUB via VOIP) 3000-3999

Both places are running LCR.

You need to have both places entered in the Networking tables along with the corresponding trunk group that they connect through via VOIP.

Under the RTE TABLEs you need to make sure that the VOIP trunks are being used for the OFFICE code correlation to table.

when i activate LCR at the node to use the HUB's PRI i just pre-insert 2800 for all calls under corresponing Rte tables and office codes. This is done via LCR table programming at the NODE site. 2800 being LCR FIXED CODE off of the HUB.

???IF you are dial 3801 from your node site your are picking up Trunk Group 1 from the Node site not the HUB, unless you are using and ALTERNATE Numbering Plan??? so i may be wrong in thinking that.

if your tables are set-up correctly in the scenario that i give, you should be able to pick up from any phone at the NODE and dial any extension at the HUB as well as Trunk Groups and or Park Groups and such by dialing codes.

Maybe ED can correct me if am wrong on any of this but i have set this up in this exact manner several times. **Note do not put a P(Pause) in before the Pre-Insert digits for the LCR code as it will not work when going across the network. I fought with that for a while before Vodavi and myself found that out.

Here is my setup.

Hub ext 3100 - 3369
node ext 3370 - 3399
node ext 3400 - 3651

As you can see all leading digits are 3. Do I need to change the hub to have a different dialing for trunk groups.

i have lcr enabled at both hub and node. lcr insert 3800- into trunk group 2 (3802) which is voip channels.

I think you have a numbering conflict with trunk access. The code for LCR is 3800 at all sites. Not sure if that is the problem or not. I always want to be able to make a call without LCR first to make sure it works and then have the LCR emmulate what I did to make the call. You may need to change the LCR access code at the hub to another number such as 3825 which should not be duplicated at any remote site.

i am agreeing with Derrick that you have a numbering plan conflict on the Trunk Group Fixed and Flexed codes. Are the Trunk Group Flexed out at all at any of the sites? if they are not then they are all the same codes at every site which will NOT work.

So to answer your question yes you will need to change the HUB and both NODES Trunk Group access codes.

I changed the hub to be 3925 - lcr, 3926 - tg 1, 3927 - tg2.

the node is 3900 lcr, 3901 tg 1, 3902 tg2.

With some further testing I found that I can dial 3927 which are a pots trunk group and get dial tone and dial out. I dial 3926 which is trunk group 1 (PRI) and it rings and then gives me an recording of invalid number being dialed.

Directly access the PRI group will probably not work. I could be wrong. Have you tried dialing the HUB LCR code, 3925, and then dialing out? it will use the LCR off the HUB system.

It sounds like your heading in the right direction.

I have tried the hub lcr code before ,but not since I changed the flex codes. I have to drive over there and activate it.

yes you are correct. Can you dial in from an analog extension across the network to the modem at the Hub?
