Wondering how to set up a message waiting key on a 24 button phone for this system. It's a two cabinet system with multiple tenants running on it. The tech that used to service it left and now it's my baby. I know enough Vodavi to get around but couldn't figure out message waiting. I've been programming through the phone and don't have access to the PC tool. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

That system has fixed message waiting buttons on the phones. Are you seeking how to program voice mail message waiting buttons? If that's all you need, then just press the speed button twice, press any available button and then dial 440.

Oops, I should have clarified, this phone needs two message waiting buttons for two seperate mailboxes that do not belong to the extension of the phone. I think I may have found it. For some reason the manual I had did not have the message waiting code but a different manual did. I'm going to try it today but just to confirm is the code 623 + port number for the extension?

The button code for a different mailbox is 460 + the mailbox number.
