Hello all,
is their a easy way to find the IP address of my XTS system. I am trying to setup IP phones but dont know the address to put in the phone.

The address is in the system programming for the IP card. Be careful though - a wrong button push in there and you could dump all your IP phones.

Thanks, where in the programming would i fing it. or what menu would i use , sorry for the questions I am new to this system .

ok i found the address and can get the nomad soft phone to work but cant get a 3813 24 button ip phone to work, it is set to remote and i put the ip in. what have i missed? thanks Bruce

You may need to add the MAC address of the phone to the corresponding extension on the VOIP card. Not sure how that specific set-up is, but I think the default is that MAC is required to be entered at the system.

Hey All, got the phone working, the mac was in the system but the phone still didnt work reset the voip card and the phone still didnt work. then changed the ip address of the voip card still didnt work so changed it back to the original IP and reset phone then it worked. not sure how or why but its working now.
