Hello all,
I am experiencing an Issues with my SBX IP 320. Randomly the system will not respond to calls made. If I am running a Ping to the VOIP interface it just stops responding to the PINGS and will not accept calls. If I pick up a phone in the office and call out, it immediately starts to respond to the PING. At some point the system decides to respond and works great, ping reply's start again as well. Very Strange. Already worked with Vertical Tech and replaced VOIP card and still doesn't work. It loses about 15% of the packets. Any help is appreciated.

Also, I have tried hooking up the interface to various switches and hubs 10MB/100MB/1000MB and nothing seems to change.
Thanks

Have you changed the codecs to G729a? Does the customer have enough bandwidth? Are you behind a firewall? Are the IP phones onsite or off premise?

Vertical University has a course on a program called Wireshark, this may help you see where the packets are going.
