Greetings All,
Any recommendations on a station side recorder for an XTS-IP? We've got a client who wishes to record 12 lines, 6 digital stations & 2 IP stations. They'd like to record, separated by extension back to a single source, not accessible by station users.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The Digital extension recorder works great at a pretty good price and will do exactly what you are wanting it to do. You can send all the voice files to a network server or to each individual pc. It will work with the Vodavi branded telephones. Easy enough for a computer savvy receptionist to hook up and configure. But check the laws in your state about recording calls first.

Have you considered the digital extension recorder, part #3063-00? This will allow calls to be recorded to a locally-connected PC and if networked, the files for all stations should be able to be accessed and collated in one uniform location. Just an idea.

You threw me off there Ed. The product I was referring to is the 3063-00. I never understood it having a Vodavi number when the product says Comvergent on the label. But we're talking about the same product.

I completely missed your post about the same product. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the feedback gentlemen. The client doesn't wish to have the station user to have access to recordings. We've used the Digital Extension Recorders in the past with great success, but I was always under the impression it was saved on the users desktop. I'll take another look at it though.
