Anyone ever hear how Vertical plans to add more extensions to make the station capacity 48 instead of 32 in the next revision in June? I have a customer who is impatiently awaiting the news and... haha... the cost.
Thanks! Nick

I just talked with representatives from Vertical today at a trade show in Chicago. There are planning to expand they system before the year is out in 3.0. There is also going to be T1/PRI support along with fixes to some other issues. There is going to be a hard-drive based voicemail possibly in 3.5 or 4.0
He told me that Charles DeTrantles (I don't know how that is spelled) is now spearheading the team to get the SBX in line with the STSe as far as how features work. I think he used to work on the XTS development, so he will know what needs to be done to get the SBX up to par.

That is great news about Charles. In this week's Webinar Q&A we were told that info will be available in the June Webinar about the expansion

Just got word on the expansion plans.
NEW BASE Cabinet.
So, if youre currently at capacity and have your add-on cabinet, plan on replacing that base unit. I cant say Im pleased with Vertical.

Every SBX customer I've ever installed or have proposed has had need for virtual extensions in some form or another.

PGM 112 Button 23 is "Dummy Station" enable/disable. That will give you a virtual extension.

Correct on the PGM 112 button 23 for virtual stations. I really believe the SBX has alot of applications you all do not know about over the STSe system. Dig and discover!
