I have a construction trailor that I installed a basic STSe with voice mail in. Have a T1 split into voice and data feeding it. everything works fine except every now and then station 101 gets what sounds like cell phone interferance that comes over the speaker when no one is on the phone. Could this be a T1 issue? If so why only on sta 101? Any Thoughts?

I doubt that it has anything to do with the T1. I'd make sure that there isn't a 4-wire line cord being used or at least make sure that the second pair is disconnected in the station's jack. Nextel phones are notorious for causing speaker noise on idle phones. They are also very popular on construction sites.
Also, check to make sure that background music hasn't been activated inadvertently on that station. With no music source connected, all kinds of noise can be picked up and amplified through the speakers.

Thanks Ed. As always you are most helpful.. I will check that out. I am not sure if they put a 4-wire line cord on the phone but I know for sure that the second pair and 3rd pair are wired to the jack. 4th pair is broke out to a 2nd jack for future fax. Will look at MOH also
