Hi- I am new to this site, am an office manager of a surety company that uses Vodavi phones. We usually have a vendor that deals with our phone issues, but they are turning out to be very hard to reach and not to be able to solve our phone problems to our liking. Right now we have several, but I will start with one. We had our vendors shut off the ringer for our main line on two phones because we began using headsets that beeped annoyingly every time the phone rang. Their private lines would still ring, but not the main line. New headets no longer cause this problem, and we can't answer the phone just by pushing the button on the headset if it isn't ringing, so I need those ringers turned back on. Our vendor had us use call forwarding from another phone that never had the rigner turned off, but there is a delay and the phones ring a t different times, making more noise in our small office and confusing us as to how many calls are coming in. I think it must be possible to put it back how it was? Any suggestions?

Oksy, put the ringers back on the phone so you don't have to push the button
Then dial 695 on each phone and pick ringer tone 36 which is silent ring. You will not get the annoying beep but you don't have to push the button either.

What you're asking takes installer level programming. We'd also need to know which Vodavi system you have. You can search the "Installers" link at the top of the page to see if there is someone more to your liking in your area. You could also seek assistance from a Vodavi mod off line via PM or email. Expect to pay a small fee for the service though. If you have the manuals and passwords for Installer level programming we could point you in the right direction. Welcome to the board.
