New customer had their talkpath acting up and not responding either by calling it or admin software, that they have. I went out today and it was down but when you look at the side the four lights were all lit up. I was trouble-shooting possible connections incase port 1 was loosing connection with the KSU. The 2nd time I rebooted it, no lights at all. I am showing 17.5 volts from the power supply so guessing it died. Any options for replacing the voice mail other than the Talkpath? I should add this is the blue digital interface unit.
Thanks
Stephanie

The input voltage is suppose to be 18V, so you may have a bad power supply. Try replacing that first. If that doesn't work, then you probably have a bad hard-drive. Replacements are available.
The digital Talkpath/Dispatch will give you the best integration with the Triad. Why would you want to replace it with something else?

Thanks for the reply. Customer says they have gone through 3 talkpaths in the past 8-9 years. I agree that it could be the power supply. When I got there everything looked like it was up when you look at the unit. But you could not connect with admin or via phone. Now it has no lights. Just wish I had spare parts to try on it.

Verify if it is the harddrive by watching it boot in ECOM. If it gives you an error that the drive is bad then you will know that you need to replace the hard drive. We use a flash drive instead of the hard drive in our Talkpath/Dispatch replacements and they are much more reliable the a replacement hard drive.

Thanks again. At this time, the voicemail is dead. When pluged in it does nothing. I can sure see it being a weak power supply. Wish I had another one to try

I am betting a bad drive as well Scott. If the drive is bad no lights will light up.

17.5 volts out of 18 is not that weak. Either you have a bad hard drive or its an older unit with a bios bug which means it still has a bad drive.

Does anyone have any recommendations for hard drive replacements? Keep up the great work.

By the way that is why you need to apply power with it connected to the laptop and ECOM open so you can diagnose the problem. The lights are the least of the issues.
