local police added cid on co lines. when i started
looking in the book it holds 100 cid in memory. My question is if the cid memory is not deleted, when it's full does it delete automatically, old to new or ??

Yes, it bumps off the oldest entry. If I were you, I'd use SMDR for all calls and dump it to a PC using Hyperterminal, then just write the records to a file for permanent keeping.

It does hold memory of cid as mentioned by Ed. Depending on system and software level, cid retrieval via phone can differ between versions.

Did you try the RING DELAY TIMER at FLASH 40, Page C, Button #2?

You can put a ring delay in as Teletubby mentioned. Ring delay is recommended. If you do not put a ring delay in, caller id will still show on the screen as long as the data burst makes it to the phone system before the user picks up. It just won't have the cid info before the instrument rings.
