Gentlemen
I installed music on hold on a STSE system it sound great on the phone 6321 but when a person is on hold it sounds muffled played with the volume but it still has the problem.have any of you had this problem.

Are you using the line output or 8 ohm from the MOH player? Since the phones have an amplifier built in for the speaker output, a weak audio source can still sound good. Music on hold input is not amplified, so it will sound poor. Try changing the output from the MOH player to the other output.
Make sure you turn the player's volume all the way down first, then gradually increase it until the MOH sounds acceptable.
Also, make sure you don't have a 1/8" mini plug stuck in an RCA (phono) output jack on the player.
