Is there a difference between co cards on the Starplus sts?
What is a 4 port co analog card for?
The reason i ask is i had a call today and they asked me if a 4 port analog co card will work or do they need a digital co card, I had no idea what they where talking about due to i don't work with Vodavi.

The CO cards are all the same, however they did come up with a revised version from the 3531-03 a few years ago that is only compatible with newer software. The only CO card is the 4 port one and the main cabinet will hold two of them (the base cabinet is already equipped for four lines).

Of course, there is a PRI/T1 card available.

Thanks Ed, so I'm understanding this correct . He is telling me he has (VDAV3003) Startplus STSE 4 Port CO/Trunk Card he can see. now is that the second and is the first 4 co lines on the mother board or should there be two of them? Ty for the advise in advance Ed.

Never mind Ed I see in your post that the base cab will hold two of them. Thanks

If he can see the card then he is equipped for 8 CO line as the first 4 are built into the mother board. Also this card should be in slot 5.
