Can anyone refer a centralized voicemail for an SBX IP320? There are approximately 5-8 sites networked with approxminately 150 users. The main reason for the centralized setup is because the customer needs to forward voicemail messages to users at the networked sites.
Client is already aware that the DND/FWD lights will be blinking on the phones 24/7.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to the technical info that I have recieved from Vertical centralized voice mail is not an integrated option with the SBX. You would have to use an analog voicemail such as the Pathfinder or the analog Talkpath/dispatch. You will loose cid info and all one button phone features that the built in vm provides as weak as they are. So you have to have a number of free ports somewhere to use centralized vm. I can tell you this building the integration call tables is a multi step pain.

The analog Dispatch versions were discontinued before the 586 platform became available and the older 486 platforms were discouraged for centralized use. So unfortunately, you are pretty much limited to the Analog Pathfinder. This is a serious weakness in the SBX product line since centralized VM in the XTS family was so successful.

I have about a dozen 586-based analog TalkPath units out there (same as Dispatch, right)? I never heard that.
I remember this well because my first one installed was at a site that was 90 miles from here and the hard drive failed within six weeks.

Live & learn! Thanks for the update. I don't think there ever was an analog 586 in my Starplus price sheets. You Infinite guys always had releases ahead of us Starplus dealers.

Sorry to open that wound. Yes, they did mention how we got preferential treatment over the Starplus dealers. Doesn't do any of us much good these days, huh? At the last infinite dealer meeting (which was a surprise combined meeting), they urged us to get along. Most of us in mutual territories did so. Repeat: MOST. EDIT: Wow, sorry for the huge sidetrack from the original topic!

Vertical's Key Voice Interchange can be integrated as an option.
