I have a customer with a Vodavi tr5000, (Mach 1) with digital voice mail.

Auto attendant answers all the time, enter your party's extension, it says "now transferring to whoever", then when the person at that desk does not answer, it goes to their voice mail box.

However, there are 2 extensions that are not working this way. AA answers, enter 102 (or 115), it says now transferring to whoever", then it just stays there in Limbo, it never transfers, it never hangs up, it never does anything.

Its always worked fine.

What could be the problem?
Thanks in advanced

Did you try deleteing the two mailbox's and recreating them? That's what I would try.

I Don't know if this makes any difference or not, in terms of where I should start looking for the problem, but, in the after hours greeting, those two extensions go their mailboxes just fine.

I still think you should delete and recreate the two mailbox's. When you say "at night they go to the mailbox's", do you know if the extensions ring and then forwarded to vm? Are you using supervised or blind transfers? I don't believe the Mach 1 had preset fwd day, night, and special ( as far as station forwarding goes ), so if you are using blind transfers it shouldn't matter whether it is day or night. I say delete and recreate.

Best place to start. It is easy and quick. I've chased too many odd issues around over the years that a reset, etc. can quickly correct.

I went there today. I checked the flash 50 prog for external call forwarding, I added the 440 there for those two stations.

It now forwards to their mailbox when not answered.

Thanks everybody!

Makes me wonder how it forwarded correctly at night if external fwd was turned off. Maybe you have the night menu set up to trf directly to the mailbox. Anyway, glad to hear you got it to work.
