Anyone have this happen yet? Added 40 Edge 700 24 btn phones to an existing XTS MPB2 with Triad 24 btn phones. All was well until I received complaints about the page volume on the 700 phones. While receiving a page, ran the volume down to minimum, incoming page is still very loud. Set speaker volume to low (flash 41, btn 11)helped some but pages still very loud. All other volume functions are fine. Tech support didn't have a solution. Covered 90% of the speaker grill with black duct tape till a "fix" comes along.

I have the same issue. Nobody seems to know why. It's like the 2 second paging receive delay if you are using ETIB cards, they have no idea and no intention of fixing it (I reported that one years ago). I finally installed overhead paging since the customer has over 150 of the electronic sets.
I may be wrong but since the XTS has just about reached the end of the road I doubt there will be any firmware changes and possibly few if any software changes.
