Ok, I have a speed dial bin setup on 9019 (personal speed dial bin). I am trying to call a number then insert a pause to give auto attendant (the number I'm calling) a chance to answer. Then have it dial an extension. Looks like this:

Bin 9019
999-9999PP3118

(The 9's represent the number I am dialing with 3118 being the extension I want it to dial after the auto attendant answers).

When I try this (Speed 9019), I get invalid MF Code. I am assuming that the system is trying to entire number and it will not work.

I have tried entering a #, a P (the hold button), a Flash, nothing is working.

Am I missing something?

First off does dial 9 for outside line work? if so I would think the speed dial number shuld work if programmed speed speed bin 9019 seven digit number hold hold then 3118. I don't know how many pauses it will allow but I think they use one digit posisito each.

Well, actually no it does give me an outside line. I do not have to dial a 9 when using the speed dial numbers.

I have 300+ system speed dial numbers. And have 12 personal speed dial number on my phone. But cannot get this work. The manual says that a hold will insert a pause, but in reality it never calls the number with a pause. It will dial the number if I insert a flash or a #, but then will not dial the extension.
