Today two of our phones are showing 100 VM and we cannot delete them. I know we did not receive that many calls but now the system will not allow new messages.
Any suggestions on how to delete these messages? Please bare in mind I am not a "techie" but just a somewhat knowledgable user. Thanks in advance!

I am going to assume at this point that you have the flash-based voice mail card in the STS. This card has very limited message storage capabilities. With that being said, there are likely two issues causing this:
1. Several people have gone into the 'notification' settings for their mailboxes and only entered their extension number instead of a cell/pager number. This will cause dozens of endless loop call attempts, resulting in even more dead-air messages being deposited in the box. Check all mailboxes' notification settings and ensure that nothing is entered there.
2. You have recently switched over to a "cheaper" local service provider that is not sending the requisite disconnect signal when an incoming call is abandoned. This will also cause many, many dead-air messages to be left in the mailboxes.
Regardless of what is causing this, you will first need to delete all of the messages that exist to free-up storage space. Then, you will need to see what is causing this. My guess is that one of the two items above is your culprit.
If Ed's solutions do not work ( and they should) you will need to reinitialize the voice mail. All messages will be erased. This is something you will need a dealer to do for you.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will try to delete the messages, however, it does not appear to delete anything. My first message is always the same one and I hit 3 to delete, the phone says press # to confirm but then nothing happens, I do hear a static sound and then nothing. I have repeatedly pressed the 3 and # but nothing happens at all. We are an office of 8 people and only 2 of these phones are affected right now.
One other thing I tried is I accessed the System Admin Mailbox and tried to delete the mailbox. I went through all of the steps and it says the mailbox is deleted. However, that is the last prompt it gives me. According to my instructions I should have 3 choices after it confirms deletion. But on my phone nothing happens and the mailbox is not deleted.
Lots of times customers think their voicemail is not working because they have dead air messages, you push 1 to lesten to the message and nothing happens... you should then push 3# to get rid of that dead air message and if like Ed said you have program or provider issues you may have several of these messages.... and you may not think the voicemail is acting like it should but it is you just have to keep deleating those dead air messages and then figure out how you are getting them to fix the issue.
