I'm not sure I know exactly what I'm talking about here, but from what I've been able to research, I think this is what I want to do.
We're in an office where, when incoming calls come in, 4 phones in our office ring all at the same time. Whoever is available just answers it. We want to add another phone to that group, but I'm not sure how.
The phone is a Vodavi 30 button executive phone.

Thanks!

This could be done in a number of ways. One is just to change the CO ringing assignment and add an extension. Second is if the phones ring to a hunt group, the number of the group is displayed on the phones, ie 450 or 550. If you don't see a number such as that on the phones then I suggest you just change the CO ringing assignment. Either way it is an admin function and requires a password that we cannot provide here.

A quick way for a user to add another phone to the "group" is to create a call coverage button on the phone you want to add...its simple. Hit speed twice, push a programmable key and dial 646 plus the extension number of any of the phones that ring now. You should get three beeps to confirm and thats all there is too it. The phone may ring after a short delay but it is better than no ring at all.
