Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent headset that will connect to the XTS 3015-71 phones via 2.5mm jack?

I've tried the Plantronics M220C with poor results. I could hear just fine, but the person I called could barely hear me.

I also tried an H81 with a 2.5mm adapter cable with same problem.

We've used the Plantronics H141 with the adapter with good success on them. We used them on almost every one of the tech phones in our office when we were using the XTS and never had any issues.

Thanks for the info.

Maybe the phone I was testing with is defective. I couldn't get any headset to work in the 2.5mm jack. Could hear just fine but had no transmitter.

Are you sure that you enabled the 2.5mm headset jack in flash 50/51 programming? You have to tell it which type of headset is desired.

He said he could hear, but couldn't be heard so it has to be programmed. I just have a cheap walmart headset on mine and it works fine, so I'd say it's the phone.

It was a defective phone. I pulled another one off the shelf and the headset worked perfectly.

At least I discovered an out-of-box defective phone before it went out to a customer...
