i have a xts system with a lanb car installed and i have a few 7024ip phones running but i want to add some more phones and i have the edge 8000 ip phones will this work becuase when i set one up as a test it said no ack from mfim

Well, I'm going to try to decipher what you just tried to say. Oh my.........
What software version is the XTS running on? You will need FP4 to support the Edge 8000 IP phones. You may need to upgrade the system's software in order to make this happen, so find out what version you have before you go any further.

sorry for the sloppiness, i was in a rush, but you are right Ed. I talked to tech support and the first guy said i had a new enough software verison, which i had 4.00.1 but in order for these phones to work you need 4.00.4
