Which Omega phone? What are you trying to program? I do recall they had the worst technical manuals.

hey Ranger, don't have too much fun with the Adix. I can think of a lot of switches that are easier to learn, but once you grasp there style of database and programming it is not to difficult. Unlike Avaya and Nortel, which typically give us about 25-30 things we can change on extensions, the Adix will give you 70+ things. While most of them are left default, it still makes it a bit clumsy sometimes. You will like the fact that you can download a file, take it home and work on it, and load it later.

The most critical piece of advice I can give you is to make sure you use the exact version of PC Programmer that is specified for your software version. While it will detect when you are far off in most version mismatches, if you get close on certain software versions, it will allow you to program and make changes. This will result in a database corruption at some point in time. Could be a week, could be a year, but it will happen. Then you basically have to start over.

I will say this about the ADIX, it's new ACD package is pretty feature rich and very competitive from a price stand point.

Todays trivia???

What does ADIX stand for??

z-man. i agree. i have been trying to sell this customer a new system since i'm not familiar w/ it. they want to keep it though. i don't blame them;they've had it since 1996 and haven't had any problems. even if i can't get the pc programmer, i'd go for the plain ol fashioned way of programming through a touch-tone. how could i find out for sure what software version i need. pc program 6.1 was p-touched on the front of the cabinet lid. will the newer versions like 9.3 work (backwards compatible?)
