Hello all,
Recently a customer asked if I could work on their Sprint Protege CTX. I obtained a manual for the Protege 616 and was hoping that they were similar....no dice. When I try to enter programming from a keyset it says "Code Unavailable" message. Cant do any programming from a keyset it appears from reading the postings on this board. There is a sticker on the front of the KSU that says S5.F05, and I am assuming that has something to do with the software version. I need to add a line and do some associated programming changes. I do not have any connection to get the programming software for this system. No one in my area works on these or I would call one of them and ask for a lead on getting the software to program.I have looked online to no avail. If any body can help me out I would appriciate it greatly. Thanks

Do a search (probably in this forum)for "Sprint Protege". Alot of people have alot to say about this system. Might be interesting for you. Good Luck.

I have a similar problem to Big Mike. I have the system, and I have the manual, but I don't have the software. Can anyone help me out?
