Just wondering if anyone knows how to tweak the way Flexicall behaves on a Tadiran IPX 500. I'm using it here, but it only rings the cell phones one time before it's pulled back to the system. The single ring doesn't give us enough time to find your phone in your pocket, turn it right way up, open it up... oops, call missed. Anybody know how to lengthen the time is stays with the cell?

The newer versions have a setting for the forward timer when flexicall is set. If not it is set with the no_ans time forward. Under SFE options.

Please forgive me, carnes, but I can't seem to find that in the SFE menu. Is it under "station_options" "call_forwarding" or somewhere else. I'm still learning...

Well. If the Flexicall target is defined as a none disconnect supervision trunk like simple loop-start. The system will initiate an answer signal upon fiest ring. and it will act as if the target flexicall, answered the call. meaning the out trunk sends an answer. Bottom line the target must be a digital or G.S or supervised trunk.

Coral Tech, I'm afraid I don't understand that location. Can you be a little more descriptive, please? It sounds like what carnes was referring to is what I need to change, but I couldn't find it and he hasn't replied back with more clarification. I'm not sure if peled understood my question. Additional help would be appreciated. Thanks.

At the command prompt type in ST.T this will take you to the timers. You can always type help at a command prompt to pull up the quick verbiage. I am assuming you are using a terminal as well and have a valid level password AND have some training with the system.
