I have a customer who I inherited from my predecessor. Lost voicemail server HDD which also housed Hicom Assistant E. Reloaded what I thought was the correct software but when I try to transfer the kds from the Hicom to the PC. It times out. Is there a setting or something that I'm missing? When I don't use a null modem hookup, the switch tells me no connection. When I hookup correctly, it times out with no data transfer. Any thoughts???

In Manager E go to the options tab and verify you are using com port 1 and your baud rate is set at 19200. You should be using a null modem cable.
