So we have had and IPX runnin 14.66 for about 2 years with a PRI in it all the sudden a couple of weeks ago seems under high volume the PRI goes up and down at will. We have changed the system PRI card power supply csu and all the cableing to the niu Qwest and ELI both say it is our problem they see crc errors from us. We have checked the timeing and are going to re ascii the switch tomorrow any other ideas we are out of fresh ones but the NOT OUR FAULT ones i get those all day thnaks for any help...

Why aren't you on software 14.67.51? 1 PRI isn't a hell of alot of volume. It can only be a couple things, are you using flexicall alot? Have you tried swapping out the PRI card? Bad CSU? Check ground on PBX to see if your ground has gone bad...this can be huge BTW.

In my experience 95% of the time it's the carrier. Something is causing the T1 to start folding the 24th channel causing the d channel to drop THUS the circuit. Check the cabling yada yada yada.

You need to get your vendor out there to open up the Q9.31 messenging to see what is going on. Carriers hate the fact we can monitor EVERYTHING on the call progress.

I would still bet the carrier is the issue, but cover your bases. Finger pointing is so much fun, get a vendor meet, get a tberd setup and monitor it. ASCII is for database corruption OR you are going to a much later version of software. Also just check DTDB to see if you are clocking off them.
