i have installed alcatel 4400 enterprise system with PRI & 29 Party conference bridge.the problem is after the conf call is finished the pri channel is not getting droped,its in busy status & droppng after approx 8 hours,but when a normal call is made this prob is not occuring,i checked the call trace of the long calls,our log details shows that the calls have been dropd after 8hrs, i checkd frm service provider side if he is releasing the call,he is doing so...

Have the provider run a d-channel trap to verify the call is being released, they will be able to see what msg's you are sending to the co switch and also show what they are sending you. Also verify your protocol with the carrier, a mis-match will hang channels up, though you would probably have more issues then what you are experiencing.
