If thats a black metal box similar to a Samsung
it probably has a rca plug on the side.

Just about every system from that era had moh capability.

Have your customer take a look.

Yes, they do. It's on the same side of the KSU as all the other connectors, and there's even a volume control for an external source. If you don't have an external source, internal synthesized music is available. I think the two tunes available are "Home on the Range", and "Greensleeves".

Tom,

Just took out a Pro Star 816 --- at the local chamber of commerce. As the "Home on the Range" is the state song, they had it playing. The new NEC doesn't so they aren't happy --- told them they could get a MOH unit and play it correctly --- didn't want to pay for it.

By the way, "Home on the Range" is probably older than the state you live in. wink

The state song for Nevada is the jingle of coins dropping from the slot machines? laugh

Do you have a unit readily available to look at? Look at the left side, at all the connectors and jacks and all. Somewhere near the center should be a jack labeled "MOH". If you took the cover off, there is a selector switch to select either "Home on the Range" or "Greensleeves." If you do not have a jack plugged into the MOH jack, you should be able to either have no music, or your choice of the two songs listed. Hope this helps! wink

By the way, that information is listed on page 2-4 of the installation manual.

Another by the way, could you complete your profile? We don't know where you are, and your location could have a bearing on the answers you're looking for. Thanks!

Not sure of this MTH 32 but both the MT-16 and MT-360 have a MOH input and the MT-16 has built in MOH

If it was built after 1980 don't expect it to work right.

The MT-32 is a very rare carded Macrotel system.
It does not have the same set-up as the other Macrotel systems (input plugs on the side of the cabinet).
We fix the MT-32 phones and we have a defaulted test cabinet. We do not have any manuals for it. I glanced at our cabinet looking for an MOH input. There are a few screw terminals on the main board (top and near the front of the cabinet), I would assume that two of those are MOH input, God only knows which ones. Then I would also have no idea what would have to be done in programming to enable it.
Sorry for the bad news. I wish I had more information for you.

Sorry we couldn't be more help on this but you have a very uncommon system there. I was able to find a site that has manual but not much info on that anywhere
