This is a very ignorant question I'm afraid!
I do most of my phoning on my computer with Gizmo or Skype, but still use my regular phone with incoming calls. It is an old Venturer.
The wire connecting the body of the phone to the handset can easily be removed and replaced.
I wondered if there was any way I could therefore replace the handset with earphones, which I find hugely more practical. Hands-free communication with good quality sound is much better than having to hold a receiver. I like doing other things at the same time.
The other option is to get an account with Skype or Gizmo which will let people outside these systems ring in, but I would like to know if there is a phone conversion option first.
Thanks.

Hello, and welcome to the forum! You might want to try www.plantronics.com or www.hellodirect.com. Headsets and unique applications are their specialty. I am sure that they can help you find a solution.
